The Bachelor in Social Action (AS) at ESMOSS is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 6. Over three years, it trains professionals capable of designing, implementing and managing social and solidarity-based projects, enabling them to acquire dual expertise in social policy and project management.
This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of professionals working in social and solidarity-based organisations, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.
The ESMOSS Bachelor in Social Action enables you to become highly operational from your first professional experience or to continue your studies in a Bac+4/5 cycle.
Courses, conferences, masterclasses and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.

Programme objectives
The Bachelor in Social Action (AS) at ESMOSS is a state-recognised qualification at Level 6 that aims to achieve the following objectives:
Acquire in-depth knowledge of the legal and institutional framework of social policies
Learn how to design, plan, finance and evaluate social projects, including grant applications, budget management and team coordination
Understand contemporary social issues (poverty, exclusion, population ageing, inequalities) and the needs of different groups (young people, older adults, and people with disabilities)
Develop interpersonal skills to interact with beneficiaries, institutional partners (local authorities, associations) and funding bodies
Lead projects, manage organisational performance, and develop strategies adapted to developments in the health sector
FURTHER STUDIES
This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree programme.
This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways
Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks

Baccalaureate and Bac+2
Prerequisites: The Bachelor in Social Action at ESMOSS is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Duration
DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
- Work-study programme available from the third year onwards
Teaching Methods and Assessment
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company
Programme Summary Documents: Course materials (PDF, and/or Word, and/or PPT formats), case studies and/or audio and video resources, and any exercises to be completed during the programme
Admission Procedures and Deadlines
Access deadlines
- Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
- Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December 2026.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.
Funding
- The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
- The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
- Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
- Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
- You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.
